Бросившись навстречу богатырю, филистимлянка обвивает его шею руками. Она нежно уверяет Самсона в своей любви. Но сурово лицо воина. Вождь иудеев говорит девушке, что пришел с ней проститься. Призванный служить своему народу, он должен забыть о Далиле, чтобы не лишиться доверия соотечественников.
