Енох 141. [73] И после этого закона я видел другой закон, касающийся малого светила, который называется луною.
2. Ее окружность подобна окружности неба, и ее колесница, в которой она идет, гонится ветром; и ей дается свет по определённой мере.
3. В каждый месяц изменяется ее восход и заход; её дни как дни солнца; и если ее свет равномерен (полон), то она содержит седьмую часть солнечного света.
4. И она восходит таким образом: и ее начало на востоке выступает в тридцатое утро; в тот день она становится видимою, и тогда бывает для всех начало луны, в тридцатое утро, одинаково с солнцем в тех же вратах, где восходит солнце.
5. И одна половина ее выступает на одну седьмую часть, и весь ее круг бывает пуст, без света, кроме одной седьмой части из ее четырнадцати частей света.
6. И когда она получает одну седьмую часть с половиной от своего света, то ее свет заключает одну седьмую и седьмую часть с половиной.
7. Она заходит в новолуние вместе с солнцем, и когда солнце восходит, восходит и луна вместе с ним, и получает половину одной седьмой части света, и в ту ночь, в начале ее утра, луна заходит в первый день месяца вместе с солнцем, и бывает невидима в ту ночь семью и семью частями с половиной.
8. И она в тот день становится видимою ровно одной седьмой частью, и восходит и отклоняется от солнца, и дает света в остальные дни семь и семь (14) частей.
9. [74] И я видел другой закон и движение её, как она по тому закону совершает своё месячное обращение.
10. И всё показал мне святой ангел Уриил, который служит вождём всех их (светил); и я описал всю её (луны) положения, и показал их мне, и описал ее месяцы, как они бывают, и появление её света до истечения пятнадцати дней.
11. В каждых седьми частях весь ее свет делается полным на востоке, и в каждых седьми частях весь ее мрак делается полным на западе.
12. И в определенные месяцы она изменяет свой заход, и в определенные месяцы она идет своим особенным (от солнца) движением.
13. И в двоих вратах луна заходит вместе с солнцем, – в тех двоих вратах, в третьих и четвертых вратах.
14. Именно, – она выходит в продолжение семи дней и поворачивает, и возвращается опят через врата, где восходит солнце;
и в них ее свет делается полным; и она отклоняется от солнца, и вступает в течение 8 дней в шестые врата, из которых выходит солнце.
15. И когда солнце выходит из четвертых врат, она выходит семь дней, так что она выходит из пятых, и возвращается опять в течение семи дней в четвёртые врата, и весь ее свет делается полным, и она отклоняется и вступает в первые врата в течение восьми дней.
16. И опять она возвращается в течение семи дней в четвертые врата, из которых выходит солнце.
17. Так видел я их положения, как солнце восходит и заходит по порядку своих месяцев.
18. И между теми днями, если взять вместе пять лет, солнце имеет излишку тридцать дней; которые приходятся на один из тех пяти лет, если они полны, составляют триста шестьдесят четыре дня.
19. И излишек солнца и звезд простирается до шести дней; а в пять лет, в каждый по шести, до тридцати дней, и луна отстает от солнца и звезд на тридцать дней.
20. И луна точно ведет все года, так что их положение вовек ни поспешает, ни запаздывает ни на один день, но действительно правильно совершает годовую смену в триста шестьдесят четыре дня.
21. Три года имеют тысячу девяносто два дня и пять лет тысячу восемьсот двадцать дней, так что на восемь лет приходится две тысячи девятьсот двенадцать дней.
22. На луну же приходится в три года тысяча шестьдесят два дня, и в пять лет она отстаёт на пятьдесят дней; именно с суммою этого нужно прибавить к шестидесяти двум дням.
23. И на пять лет приходится тысяча семьсот семьдесят пять дней, так что лунные дни в восемь лет составляют две тысячи восемьсот тридцать два дня.
24. Именно ее отставание образует в восемь лет восемьдесят дней, и всех дней, на которые она отстает в восемь лет, восемьдесят.
25. И правильный год достигает конца сообразно с положением их (фаз луны?) и с положением солнца, так как оно восходит из врат, из которых оно восходи и заходит тридцать дней.
26. [75] И путеводители глав тысячей, которые поставлены над всем творением и над всеми звёздами, существует с четырьмя добавочными днями, которые не могут быть отделены от своего места сообразно со всем исчислением года; и эти путеводители служат для четырёх дней, которые не считаются при исчисление года.
27. И из-за них люди ошибаются в том (в исчислении), ибо те светила действительно служат для положения мира, одно в первых, одно в третьих, одно в четвертых и одно в шестых вратах; и точность движения мира оканчивается всегда чрез триста шестьдесят четыре положения его.
28. Ибо знаки, времена, и годы и дни показал мне ангел Уриил, которого вечный Господь славы поставил над всеми небесными светилами на небе и в мире, чтобы они управляли на поверхности неба, и явились над землею, и были путеводителями для дня и ночи, именно солнце, луна и звезды, и все служебные творения, которые совершают свое обращение во всех колесницах неба.

[75] And the guidebooks of the thousand chapters, which are set over the whole creation and over all the stars, exist with four additional days that cannot be separated from their place in accordance with the entire calculation of the year; and these guides serve for four days that are not counted in the calculation of the year.
27. And because of them people are mistaken in that (in calculus), for those luminaries really serve for the position of the world, one in the first, one in the third, one in the fourth and one in the sixth gate; and the accuracy of the movement of the world always ends through three hundred and sixty-four of its positions.
28. For the signs, times, and years and days were shown to me by the angel Uriel, whom the eternal Lord of glory set over all the heavenly bodies in heaven and in the world, so that they rule on the surface of heaven, and appear above the earth, and were guides for day and night , namely the sun, moon and stars, and all official creations that make their conversion in all the chariots of the sky.

1. [73] And after this law I saw another law concerning the small star, which is called the moon.
2. Her circle is like the circle of heaven, and her chariot, in which she walks, is chased by the wind; and she is given light to a certain extent.
3. In each month, its sunrise and sunset changes; her days are like the days of the sun; and if its light is uniform (full), then it contains a seventh of the sunlight.
4. And she rises in this way: and her beginning in the east appears on the thirtieth morning; that day it becomes visible, and then for all the moon begins, on the thirtieth morning, the same with the sun in the same gate where the sun rises.
5. And one half of it appears on one seventh part, and its whole circle is empty, without light, except for one seventh of its fourteen parts of the world.
6. And when she receives one seventh and a half from her light, then her light encloses one seventh and seventh and a half.
7. She sets a new moon with the sun, and when the sun rises, the moon rises with it, and receives half of one seventh of the world, and that night, at the beginning of her morning, the moon sets on the first day of the month with the sun, and it is invisible that night in family and seven parts and a half.
8. And that day it becomes visible in exactly one seventh part, and rises and deviates from the sun, and gives light on the remaining days of seven and seven (14) parts.
9. [74] And I saw another law and her movement, as she, according to that law, makes her monthly conversion.
10. And everything was shown to me by the holy angel Uriel, who serves as the leader of all of them (the stars); and I described all of her (the moon's) position, and showed them to me, and described her months, how they are, and the appearance of her light before the expiration of fifteen days.
11. In every seven parts, all her light is made complete in the east, and in every seven parts her whole darkness is made complete in the west.
12. And in certain months, she changes her approach, and in certain months she goes her own special (from the sun) movement.
13. And in two gates the moon sets with the sun, - in those two gates, in the third and fourth gates.
14. Namely, - she goes out for seven days and turns, and returns again through the gate where the sun rises;
and in them her light becomes full; and she deviates from the sun, and enters for six days at the sixth gate, from which the sun comes out.
15. And when the sun comes out of the fourth gate, it comes out seven days, so that it comes out of the fifth, and returns again within seven days to the fourth gate, and all its light becomes full, and it deviates and enters the first gate during eight days.
16. And again she returns within seven days to the fourth gate, from which the sun comes out.
17. So I saw their position as the sun rises and sets in the order of its months.
18. And between those days, if you take together five years, the sun has an excess of thirty days; which fall on one of those five years, if they are full, are three hundred and sixty-four days.
19. And the surplus of the sun and stars extends up to six days; and at five years old, each in six, up to thirty days, and the moon is thirty days behind the sun and stars.
20. And the moon definitely leads all the years, so that their position is never in a hurry or late for a single day, but really correctly makes the annual shift of three hundred sixty-four days.
21. Three years have one thousand ninety-two days and five years, one thousand eight hundred twenty days, so that eight years have two thousand nine hundred and twelve days.
22. The moon, at three years old, has one thousand sixty-two days, and at five years it is fifty days behind; it is with the sum of this that must be added to sixty-two days.
23. And for five years, there are one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five days, so that the lunar days of eight years are two thousand eight hundred and thirty-two days.
24. It is her lag that forms eighty eight at the age of eight, and eighty all the days on which she is eight years behind.
