Слова Лемуила царя. Наставление, которое преподала ему мать его: что, сын мой? что, сын чрева моего? что, сын обетов моих?Не отдавай женщинам сил твоих, ни путей твоих губительницам царей.
Не царям, Лемуил, не царям пить вино, и не князьям — сикеру, чтобы, напившись, они не забыли закона и не превратили суда всех угнетаемых. Дайте сикеру погибающему и вино огорченному душею; пусть он выпьет и забудет бедность свою и не вспомнит больше о своем страдании.
Открывай уста твои за безгласного и для защиты всех сирот. Открывай уста твои для правосудия и для дела бедного и нищего. Кто найдет добродетельную жену? цена ее выше жемчугов; уверено в ней сердце мужа ее, и он не останется без прибытка; она воздает ему добром, а не злом, во все дни жизни своей.
Добывает шерсть и лен, и с охотою работает своими руками.
Она, как купеческие корабли, издалека добывает хлеб свой.
Она встает еще ночью и раздает пищу в доме своем и урочное служанкам своим.
Задумает она о поле, и приобретает его; от плодов рук своих насаждает виноградник.
Препоясывает силою чресла свои и укрепляет мышцы свои.
Она чувствует, что занятие ее хорошо, и — светильник ее не гаснет и ночью.
Протягивает руки свои к прялке, и персты ее берутся за веретено.
Длань свою она открывает бедному, и руку свою подает нуждающемуся.
Не боится стужи для семьи своей, потому что вся семья ее одета в двойные одежды. Она делает себе ковры; виссон и пурпур — одежда ее.
Муж ее известен у ворот, когда сидит со старейшинами земли.
Она делает покрывала и продает, и поясы доставляет купцам Финикийским.
Крепость и красота — одежда ее, и весело смотрит она на будущее.
Уста свои открывает с мудростью, и кроткое наставление на языке ее. Она наблюдает за хозяйством в доме своем и не ест хлеба праздности.
Встают дети и ублажают ее, — муж, и хвалит ее: «много было жен добродетельных, но ты превзошла всех их».
Миловидность обманчива и красота суетна; но жена, боящаяся Господа, достойна хвалы.
Дайте ей от плода рук ее, и да прославят ее у ворот дела ее!

The words of King Lemuel. The instruction that his mother taught him: what, my son? What, son of my womb? what son of my vows?Do not give women your strength, nor your ways to the destroyers of kings.
Not to kings, Lemuel, not to kings to drink wine, and not to princes - to strong drink, so that, drunk, they would not forget the law and turn the courts of all the oppressed. Give the perishing soul and wine to the afflicted soul; let him drink and forget his poverty and not remember his suffering anymore.
Open your mouth for the mute and for the protection of all orphans. Open your mouth for justice and for the cause of the poor and the poor. Who will find a virtuous wife? its price is higher than pearls; her husband’s heart is confident in her, and he will not be left without profit; she gives him good, and not evil, all the days of her life.
It obtains wool and flax, and eagerly works with its own hands.

He reaches out his hands to the spinning wheel, and her fingers are taken by the spindle.
She opens her hand to the poor, and gives her hand to the needy.
Not afraid of a cold for her family, because her whole family is dressed in double clothes. She makes carpets for herself; fine linen and purple are her clothes.
Her husband is known at the gate when he sits with the elders of the earth.
She makes bedspreads and sells, and delivers belts to the Phoenician merchants.
Fortress and beauty are her clothes, and she cheerfully looks at the future.
He opens his mouth with wisdom, and gentle instruction in her tongue. She oversees the household in her house and does not eat idle bread.
The children get up and appease her, - the husband, and praises her: "there were many virtuous wives, but you surpassed them all."
Charisma is deceiving and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears the Lord is worthy of praise.
Give her the fruit of her hands, and may she be glorified at the gates of her deed & # 33;
