Сегодня казнь будет, значит, азарт, суматоха
Празднуют люди, слышны и проклятия, и хохот
Гнали троих, плевки, тумаки, насмешки
Водрузили кресты, к ним их приколотили неспешно

Разбойник слева, справа, посередине безгрешный

Что бы сказал ты, обычно что говорят?
А он: «Отче, прости их, ибо не ведают, что творят»
Беспощадный солнечный диск в пустыне камни плавил
Над распятиями хищные птицы слетались в стаи
«Или, Или! Лама самахфани? — прозвучали
Боже мой, Боже мой, зачем же Ты меня оставил?»
Левый разбойник издевался: «Если все так
Если ты Бог, давай, сними тогда себя и нас с креста»
Правый в ответ: «Слушай, мы-то за дело распяты
Этот безгрешный посреди нас, стало быть, святой»
Слова эти эхом в нем отозвались в самом:
«Помяни меня, Господи, во Царствии Твоем”
А в ответ: «Тебе истинно говорю
Ныне же будешь со Мною ты в раю»
Тьма была последователей у потомка Адама
Кто-то отрекся сразу, кто-то спрятался, затих
Под крестом стояли только горем убитая Мама
И самый преданный, самый любимый ученик
«Жено, се есть сын твой, — тихо молвил
Се есть Матерь твоя», — сказал Иоанну
Каждое слово давалось с невыносимой болью
Но жизнь держалась цепко в хрупком телесном храме
Внизу изнемогал уже от скуки стражник

Хриплым шепотом Христос сказал слово: «Жажду»

Кровь запеклась, застыла на терновом венце
И громогласно следом, рой разгоняя мух:
«Отче, в руки Твои передаю мой дух»
Солнце померкло в один миг земля задрожала
Распятый затих, так, видно, душа отлетала
Так торжествуй же, скептик, живи свой короткий век
Все, как и прежде, там обычный погиб человек
Прагматики правы, и мир наш устроен просто
Большой взрыв, хаос галактик, эфир и звезды
Но для меня тогда свершилось несказанно много
Из зависти, злобы люди убили живого Бога
Живите, как умеете, без веры, без чудес
Ваш человек тогда погиб, а мой воскрес

The crucified man fell silent, so, apparently, the soul flew away
So triumph, skeptic, live your short life
Everything is the same as before, an ordinary person died there
The pragmatists are right, and our world is simple
Big Bang, chaos of galaxies, ether and stars
But for me then unspeakably much happened
Out of envy and malice, people killed the living God
Live as you know how, without faith, without miracles
