Се аз, чье злое заклятье
Вражду и ненависть сеет.
Всем вам, рабам преисподней,
Законы злобы священны.
Соберитесь же толпы убийц,
Моей державы клевреты,
Ведомые злыми страстями,
Путями вины и мрака.
Поругавшие справедливость,
На распутьях вражды и гнева,
С запятнанным сердцем,
Проржавевшим грехами.
Знаменьями злыми
Душой устрашенные,
О, ненавистники мира,
Я – царь ваш, стяг мой развернут,
Под знамя мое соберитесь.
Тираны:
О, враги беспощадные
Как губительна наша держава.
Трепещет толпа,
У ног пресмыкается наших.
Жрецы:
Кровавые службы
Справляем мы ежечасно,
Во имя ложных богов,
Что алчно взыскуют,
Жертв кровавых с дарами.
Толпа:
Долой все законы,
долой обман.
Пусть хаос всем правит.
День гнева –
Судебный и страшный,
Наш день скоро настанет.
В пожаре кровавой зари
Наша мощь ужаснет
Сильных земли.
Сатана и толпа:
Ныне в неистовом гневе,
Убийства и смерть заклиная,
Каждый вздох опалим мы враждою.
Не щадя стариков и младенцев,
Мы криками злобы,
Жертв наших крики потопим.
Умудрятся тираны, но поздно.
Мы зачаты в муках и скорби,
Добродетели путь мы отторгнем.
Лишь силой одной,
Мы победу стяжаем.
Христос:
Блажен, кто гласом молящим,
Мстительный гнев отвращал,
Мир победив, вечный свет приобрящет.
Сатана:
О, этот голос, пронзающий
Ужасом сердце мое.
Заблужденья и мрак разогнавший.
Весь блеск мой померк
От глаголов, Им изреченных.
Из свиты божественной изгнан,
Небеса устрашенный покинул.
Миротворцы:
Краток век приверженцам зла.
Вечно лишь благо.
Будь верен и чист.
Тщетно дьявол на божьих сынов
Лютую брань воздвигает, -
Ни одну победу свою не удержит.
Зерно, что посеяно верой,
Благодати Божьей взыскующей,
Слезами молитв удобренное,
Жизнь прозябнет цветку,
Чья краса не увянет,
Аромат неземной источая.
С твердым сердцем, сильные верой,
Духом Святым укрепленные,
Всюду брань мы подъемлем,
Где зла мириады таятся,
Светом мира лик земной обновится.
Орошаем нежной любовью,
С небес святых изливаемой,
Сердца, увядшие в терниях
Скорби и зное полудня.
Дьявол ярится, тщится разрушить
Союз священной любви.
Забрезжит заря,
Надежда воскреснет,
Плоды милосердия сладки.
Свету разумному следуя,
Прилежно могилу копаем,
Да увидим рассеянным мрак
Нищеты и нужды ненавистной.
