Когда приблизились к Иерусалиму, к Виффагии и Вифании, к горе Елеонской, Иисус посылает двух из учеников Своихи говорит им: пойдите в селение, которое прямо перед вами; входя в него, тотчас найдете привязанного молодого осла, на которого никто из людей не садился; отвязав его, приведите.
И если кто скажет вам: что вы это делаете? отвечайте, что он надобен Господу; и тотчас пошлет его сюда.
Они пошли, и нашли молодого осла, привязанного у ворот на улице, и отвязали его.
И некоторые из стоявших там говорили им: что делаете? зачем отвязываете осленка?
Они отвечали им, как повелел Иисус; и те отпустили их.
И привели осленка к Иисусу, и возложили на него одежды свои; Иисус сел на него.
Многие же постилали одежды свои по дороге; а другие резали ветви с дерев и постилали по дороге.
И предшествовавшие и сопровождавшие восклицали: осанна! благословен Грядущий во имя Господне!
благословенно грядущее во имя Господа царство отца нашего Давида! осанна в вышних!
И вошел Иисус в Иерусалим и в храм; и, осмотрев все, как время уже было позднее, вышел в Вифанию с двенадцатью.
На другой день, когда они вышли из Вифании, Он взалкал;
и, увидев издалека смоковницу, покрытую листьями, пошел, не найдет ли чего на ней; но, придя к ней, ничего не нашел, кроме листьев, ибо еще не время было собирания смокв.
И сказал ей Иисус: отныне да не вкушает никто от тебя плода вовек! И слышали то ученики Его.
Пришли в Иерусалим. Иисус, войдя в храм, начал выгонять продающих и покупающих в храме; и столы меновщиков и скамьи продающих голубей опрокинул;
и не позволял, чтобы кто пронес через храм какую-либо вещь.
И учил их, говоря: не написано ли: дом Мой домом молитвы наречется для всех народов? а вы сделали его вертепом разбойников.
Услышали это книжники и первосвященники, и искали, как бы погубить Его, ибо боялись Его, потому что весь народ удивлялся учению Его.
Когда же стало поздно, Он вышел вон из города.
Поутру, проходя мимо, увидели, что смоковница засохла до корня.
И, вспомнив, Петр говорит Ему: Равви! посмотри, смоковница, которую Ты проклял, засохла.
Иисус, отвечая, говорит им:
имейте веру Божию, ибо истинно говорю вам, если кто скажет горе сей: поднимись и ввергнись в море, и не усомнится в сердце своем, но поверит, что сбудется по словам его, будет ему, что ни скажет.
Потому говорю вам: все, чего ни будете просить в молитве, верьте, что получите, и будет вам.
И когда стоите на молитве, прощайте, если что имеете на кого, дабы и Отец ваш Небесный простил вам согрешения ваши.
Если же не прощаете, то и Отец ваш Небесный не простит вам согрешений ваших.
Пришли опять в Иерусалим. И когда Он ходил в храме, подошли к Нему первосвященники и книжники, и старейшины
и говорили Ему: какою властью Ты это делаешь? и кто Тебе дал власть делать это?
Иисус сказал им в ответ: спрошу и Я вас об одном, отвечайте Мне; тогда и Я скажу вам, какою властью это делаю.
Крещение Иоанново с небес было, или от человеков? отвечайте Мне.
Они рассуждали между собою: если скажем: с небес, то Он скажет: почему же вы не поверили ему?
а сказать: от человеков боялись народа, потому что все полагали, что Иоанн точно был пророк.
И сказали в ответ Иисусу: не знаем. Тогда Иисус сказал им в ответ: и Я не скажу вам, какою властью это делаю.

When they approached Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, to the Mount of Olives, Jesus sends two of His disciplesand saith unto them, Go to the village that is before you; Entering it, you will immediately find a tied young donkey, on which none of the people would sit down; untie it, bring it.
And if someone tells you: what are you doing? answer that it is necessary for the Lord; and will immediately send him here.
They went, and found a young donkey, tied at the gate in the street, and untied it.
And some of those who stood there said to them, "What are you doing?" Why do you untie the colt?
They answered them, as Jesus commanded; and they let them go.
And they brought the colt to Jesus, and put their clothes on him; Jesus sat on him.
Many have spread their clothes along the way; and others cut the branches from the trees and spread them along the road.
And those who preceded and accompanied were shouting: Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
Blessed be the kingdom of our father David in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem and into the temple; and, having examined everything as the time was already late, went out to Bethany with the twelve.
The next day, when they left Bethany, He hungered;
and when he saw a fig tree, covered with leaves, from afar, he went and found what was on it; But when he came to her, he found nothing except the leaves, for it was not yet time to gather figs.
And Jesus said to her: henceforth, let no one eat of you from the fruit forever! And His disciples heard it.
We came to Jerusalem. Jesus, entering the temple, began to drive out those who sold and bought in the temple; and the tables of the moneychangers and the bench selling pigeons overturned;
and did not allow anyone to carry through the temple any thing.
And he taught them, saying, Is it not written: My house shall be called the house of prayer for all peoples? but you made it a den of thieves.
And the scribes and the chief priests heard this, and sought to destroy it, because they feared him, because all the people were astonished at his teaching.
When it was too late, He went out of the city.
In the morning, when they passed by, they saw that the fig tree had withered to the root.
And remembering, Peter says to Him: Rabbi! Look, the fig tree you cursed is withered.
Jesus answering said to them:
have the faith of God, for truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, get up and be cast into the sea, and do not doubt in your heart, but will believe that what will come to pass in his words will be to him whatever he says.
Therefore I say to you: whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you will receive, and it will be you.
And when you stand in prayer, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your heavenly Father will forgive you your trespasses.
If you do not forgive, your Heavenly Father will not forgive your trespasses.
We came again to Jerusalem. And when He walked in the temple, the high priests and scribes and elders came to Him
And they said to Him, By what authority are You doing this? and who gave you the power to do this?
Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask you of one thing, answer me. then I will tell you by what authority I do this.
Was John's baptism from heaven, or from men? answer me.
They reasoned among themselves: if we say: from heaven, then He will say: why did you not believe him?
but to say: people were afraid of people, because everyone believed that John was exactly a prophet.
And they answered Jesus, "We do not know." Then Jesus answered and said unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
