На востоке увидели волхвы звезду.
В той стране, родился Иисус Назорей
И запели все ангелы в райском саду.
И Младенец прильнул к материнской груди
И Мария слезу уронила украдкой
Трудный путь ожидает Его впереди
А Дитя, безмятежный, спал тихо и сладко
Что ждет Тебя, Малыш? Пока Ты крепко спишь
И с молоком святую впитываешь силу
Что ждет Тебя, Дитя? Когда спасать придя
Увидишь гнев толпы, что в душу грех впустила
На земле, где не ведан и мир и покой
Где Твой храм оскверняют, святыни не чтут
