И сказал Господь Моисею: еще одну казнь Я наведу на фараона и на Египтян; после того он отпустит вас отсюда; когда же он будет отпускать, с поспешностью будет гнать вас отсюда;внуши народу, чтобы каждый у ближнего своего и каждая женщина у ближней своей выпросили вещей серебряных и вещей золотых.
И дал Господь милость народу Своему в глазах Египтян, да и Моисей был весьма велик в земле Египетской, в глазах рабов фараоновых и в глазах народа.
И сказал Моисей: так говорит Господь: в полночь Я пройду посреди Египта,
и умрет всякий первенец в земле Египетской от первенца фараона, который сидит на престоле своем, до первенца рабыни, которая при жерновах, и все первородное из скота;
и будет вопль великий по всей земле Египетской, какого не бывало и какого не будет более;
у всех же сынов Израилевых ни на человека, ни на скот не пошевелит пес языком своим, дабы вы знали, какое различие делает Господь между Египтянами и между Израильтянами.
И придут все рабы твои сии ко мне и поклонятся мне, говоря: выйди ты и весь народ, которым ты предводительствуешь. После сего я и выйду. И вышел Моисей от фараона с гневом.
И сказал Господь Моисею: не послушал вас фараон, чтобы умножились чудеса Мои в земле Египетской.
Моисей и Аарон сделали все сии чудеса пред фараоном; но Господь ожесточил сердце фараона, и он не отпустил сынов Израилевых из земли своей.

And the Lord said to Moses: I will bring yet another execution to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians; after that he will let you go from here; when he will let go, he will hurry to drive you out of here;inspire the people, so that each of his neighbor and each woman of his neighbor will beg silver things and gold things.
And the Lord gave mercy to His people in the eyes of the Egyptians, and Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the eyes of the slaves of the Pharaohs and in the eyes of the people.
And Moses said: Thus saith the Lord: At midnight I will pass in the midst of Egypt,
and every first-born in the land of Egypt will die from the first-born of Pharaoh, who sits on his throne, to the first-born of a slave who is with millstones, and all the firstborn of cattle;
and there will be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, which has not happened and which will not be any more;
among all the sons of Israel, neither a man nor a cattle will stir a dog with his tongue, so that you know what difference the Lord makes between the Egyptians and between the Israelites.
And all these your servants will come to me and bow to me, saying: Come out, you and all the people whom you are leading. After this I will go out. And Moses came out of Pharaoh with wrath.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh did not listen to you, that my wonders might multiply in the land of Egypt.
Moses and Aaron did all these miracles before Pharaoh; but the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not release the sons of Israel from his land.
