Велие и преславное чудо совершися днесь: Дева раждает и утроба не истлевает: Слово воплощается и Oтца не отлучается. Ангели с пастырьми славят, и мы с ними вопием: слава в вышних Богу, и на земли мир.Великое и высшее всяких представлений чудо совершилось сегодня: Дева рождает и утроба не истлевает; Слово воплощается, и не отлучается от Отца. Ангелы славят с пастухами, и мы с ними восклицаем: «Слава в вышних Богу, и на земле мир!»
Веселися Иерусалиме, торжествуйте вси любящии Сиона: днесь временный разрешися соуз осуждения Адамова, рай нам отверзеся, змий упразднися: юже бо прельсти первее, ныне узре Содетелеву бывшу Матерь. О глубина богатства, и премудрости, и разума Божия! Яже исходатаивши смерть всей плоти, греховный сосуд, спасения начало бысть миру всему, Богородицы ради. Младенец бо раждается из Нея Всесовершенный Бог, и рождеством девство печатствует: пленицы греховныя разрешая пеленами, и младенства ради, Eвины врачует яже в печалех болезни. Да ликовствует убо вся тварь, и да играет: обновити бо ю прииде Христос, и спасти души наша.
Веселись, Иерусалим, и торжествуйте все любящие Сион. Сегодня развязаны долговременные узы осуждения Адама: рай для нас открыт; змей обезврежен, (ибо ныне он увидал, что) та, которую он прежде обманул, стала Матерью Создателя. О глубина богатства, и премудрости, и разума Божия: доставившая смерть всему роду (человеческому), орудие греха, стала началом спасения для всего мира через Богородицу, так как от Нее рождается, (как) младенец, Всесовершенный Бог, и рождением Своим прикладывает печать Свою к девству. Пеленами развязывающий путы грехов через младенчество Свое врачует Евины болезни при родах. Посему, да ликует и придет радостное движение все творение. Ибо пришел Христос восстановить его и спасти души наши.
В вертеп вселился eси Христе Боже, ясли Тя восприяша, пастырие же и волсви поклонишася. Тогда убо пророческая исполнися проповедь, и ангельския силы дивляхуся, вопиюще и глаголюще: слава схождению Твоему, eдине Человеколюбче.
Ты, Христос Бог, поселился в пещере; приняли Тебя ясли; пастухи и волхвы Тебе поклонились. Тогда именно и исполнислась пророческая проповедь, и ангельские силы поражались, восклицая и говоря: слава нисхождению Твоему, единственный Человеколюбец.
