Есть на земле в далекой ПалестинеЛюдьми забытая голгофская гора
Забыть ее нельзя христианину,
Забыть ее - остаться без Христа.
Сказанья дней далеких, вспоминанья,
Давайте к ней мы ближе подойдем.
Быть может, глубже крестные страданья
Душей своей сегодня мы поймем.
Чрез тьму веков душею видеть можно:
Вот по дороге шествует толпа,
Среди нее, ступая осторожно,
Идет Христос, тяжелый крест неся.
Идет поруганный, осмеянный толпою,
Горячий пот с и кровь с лица Его течет.
Он принял все глумленья и побои,
Теперь в последний путь идет.
Идет, и падая, на гору поднимаясь,
Тяжелый крест на себя он взял
Идет безропотно, как Агнец умирая,
Грехи вселенной на себя принял.
Не видел я другой такой картины,
Не видел мир страданья дней тех дня.
О, если б знали дщери Палестины,
Кто падал ниц под тяжестью креста.
Венец терновый, лик Его ужасный,
Иголки впилися в Его чело,
За нас с тобой Он был обезображен,
За нас с тобой святая кровь текла.
И видим мы: толпа остановилась,
Людьми усеяна Голгофская гора,
Как будто вся вселенная явилась,
Чтоб быть судьей невинного Христа.
Звучат страдальцу приказанья,
Он лег на крест, с любовью покорясь.
Что делал ты? К;акие злодеянья?
Явил любовь, пред всеми умалясь.
И раздался стук на Голгофе,
То ржавый гвоздь вбивают в длань Христа,
Рабы греха, коварства и порока,
Рукой безжалостного, злого палача.
А впереди, средь горя и страданья,
Стояла любящая мать.
И громкие рыданья
Она не в силах была удержать.
Но люди черствые на зрелище взирали,
И жадно слушали удары молотка.
Распни, распни Его! - в безумии кричали,
И вот пред ними жертва распята.
Изведал Он бесчисленные муки,
Удары палкой и плевки в лицо.
Теперь висит с пронзенными руками,
Пронзенны ноги и в крови чело.
Но мир любя невиданной любовью,
Он благ к тупой, глумящейся толпе.
Прости их, Отче! Вечною любовью
Я их люблю, страдая на кресте.
И собрав оставшиеся силы
Спаситель "Совершилось!" произнес...
И тьма на землю опустилась,
И стало днем, как ночию, темно.
Была ли тьма когда темнее?
Упала ниц на землю поверженная толпа,
Исведал он бесчисленны мученья,
И чашу скорби выпил до конца.
С тех пор прошло столетий много,
Но как маяк, нам светит без конца
Неповторимая тернистая дорога,
Людьми забытая Голгофская гора.

He took all the mockery and beatings,
Now he’s on his last journey.
He goes, and falling, climbing a mountain,
He took upon himself a heavy cross
Walking meekly, like a Lamb dying,
The sins of the universe took over.
I have not seen another such picture,
I did not see the world of suffering of the days of that day.
Oh, if the daughters of Palestine knew
Who fell prostrate under the weight of the cross.
The crown of thorns, His terrible face,
Needles dug into His brow
For you and me He was disfigured,
For you and me, holy blood flowed.
And we see: the crowd stopped
Golgotha Mountain is dotted with people,
As if the whole universe appeared
To be the judge of the innocent Christ.
Sounds to the sufferer orders
He lay on the cross, lovingly submitting.
What did you do? K; what are the atrocities?
He showed love, diminishing before all.
And there was a knock on Calvary,
That rusty nail is driven into the hand of Christ,
Slaves of sin, deceit and vice,
The hand of a ruthless, evil executioner.
And ahead, in the midst of grief and suffering,
It was a loving mother.
And loud sobs
She could not restrain herself.
But stale people looked at the sight,
And eagerly listened to the blows of the hammer.
Crucify, crucify Him! - they screamed in madness,
And before them the victim is crucified.
He explored countless torments,
Sticks and spitting in the face.
Now hanging with pierced hands
The legs are pierced and the brow is in the blood.
But loving the world with unprecedented love
He is good for a dull, mocking crowd.
Forgive them, Father! Eternal love
I love them, suffering on the cross.
And gathering the remaining forces
Savior "Done!" said ...
And darkness fell to the earth
And it became day, like a night, dark.
Was there darkness when it was darker?
The defeated mob fell on the ground,
He explored countless torments,
And drank the cup of sorrow to the end.
Many centuries have passed since then,
But like a beacon, we shine endlessly
A unique thorny road
Forgotten Calvary Mountain by people.
