Опустевший городЯ жила в одном городе старом,
И проклятье лежало на мне:
Не могла я гореть любви жаром,
Не могла расцвести по весне.
И была я всегда изгоем,
А проклятье несло долголетье,
И никто не хотел быть со мною,
Даже смерть не могла я встретить.
Но сперва был везде смех детей,
И кругом молодые ходили…
А потом, к счастью злых матерей,
Их детей убивать научили.
И детишек не тех, что родились
И увидеть свет солнца успели.
Нет, не их, а таких ,что носились
Под сердцами. И их не жалели.
И всё тише на улицах слышен
Был смех детский. И реже ходили
Мамы будущие. Шло затишье
В город наш. Пусты улицы были…
И всё больше пустел с каждым годом
Городок, в коем жизнь моя шла,
И однажды я вышла из дома,
Но нигде никого не нашла.
Я осталась в местах сих одна,
Ведь проклятье лежало на мне,
Я стара, никому не нужна,
И детишек вижу я во сне…
