Композиция была названа Requiem for a Tower и записана специально для трейлера (она не входит ни в саундтрек Реквиема по мечте, ни в саундтрек Властелина колец: Две башни), она была отредактирована композиторами Simone Benyacar, Dan Nielsen и Veigar Margeirsson. В октябре 2006 Requiem for a Tower была издана Corner Stone Cues на релизе для iTunes.

The version of Lux Aeterna (the main theme of the movie “Requiem for a Dream”), re-recorded with the orchestra and choir ensemble, was used in the trailer for the film The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. The composition was called Requiem for a Tower and recorded specifically for the trailer (it is not included in either the Requiem for the Dream soundtrack, nor the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers soundtrack), it was edited by composers Simone Benyacar, Dan Nielsen and Veigar Margeirsson. In October 2006, Requiem for a Tower was published by Corner Stone Cues on release for iTunes.
