Осеннею порою под тихий шум дождяДевчонка провожала на службу паренька.
Дождаться обещала, целуя горячо.
Солдат смотрел с тревогой в красивое лицо.
Полгода пролетело, солдат затосковал,
Все реже от девчонки он письма получал.
И не было в тех письмах прощальных нежных слов.
Солдату стало ясно, что кончилась любовь.
Однажды среди ночи дневальный услыхал,
Что кто-то среди спящих во сне пробормотал:
«Не думал, что так скоро забудешь ты меня...»
И снова наступила в казарме тишина.
С той ночи бы как будто сменили паренька,
С лица его улыбка исчезла навсегда.
Он стал грубить сержантам, уставы нарушать
И чаще всех во взводе в наряды заступать.
Сидит в пустой курилке и пьет одеколон,
Своей бедой не хочет ни с кем делиться он.
Свою беду он хочет немного утолить,
И вспомнив о девчонке и сразу загрустив
Два года пролетело, и нет от них следа.
Последним отпустили на дембель паренька.
Усталою походкой побрел он на вокзал
Лишь песенку блатную тихонько напевал.
В вагоне-ресторане он встретил дембелей
И пил, не зная меры до станции своей.
Но вот вокзал знакомый виднеется вдали.
Солдаты взяли друга и выйти помогли.
Усталою походкой пошел к себе домой
И вдруг на перекрестке он встал как неживой.
Навстречу шла девчонка, неся в руках цветы.
Солдат остановился, сжимая кулаки.
«Кому ты, дорогая, несешь такой букет?»
Девчонка, растерялась, ответила: «Тебе…»
И розы протянула дрожащею рукой.
Солдат прижал к груди их, не ощущая боль.
С размаха кинул розы в красивое лицо:
«Считай, что за измену отделалась легко!»
Носи теперь по жизни глубокий след шипов
И помни постоянно солдатскую любовь.
