На планете Востроя жили два брата.Старшему гвардейцем стать суждено.
А младшему нельзя становиться солдатом.
Права такого ему не дано.
Младший завидовал, ведь он считал,
Что он больше достоин Императору служить.
И вот десантником он вскоре стал
Чтоб старшего брата честь осквернить.
И вот на битву вместе идут
Востроянский Первенец и Ультрамарин.
Пока гвардейцы в окопах ждут.
Десант могуч и непобедим.
Гвардейцы союзников огнём прикрывали
Пока Ультрамарины в атаку шли.
И вот вознёсся флаг над холмом.
Младший позицию один захватил.
После боя братья встретились вновь.
Младший сказал: «Ты трус, не солдат!»
А старший лишь обнял брата родного
И тихо сказал: «Я горжусь тобой, брат!»
«Он издевается!» младший подумал:
«Я буду всегда для него лишь вторым!
Жалко, что старший при рождении не умер…
Но я же десантник, Ультрамарин!»
Мрачными мыслями младший наполнен
Зависть к брату гложет его до
Источник силы он искал настоящей,
сменив цепной меч на топор.
Хаос сожрал его душу в миг
Стремленье быть первым разум убило.
Младший свою присягу нарушил
Детям Императора пополнение пришло.
Новая битва. Востроянцы в окопах.
Старший брат ищет цель для себя
И вдруг он увидел брата родного,
Которым гордился, по братски любя.
Десантники хаоса рвут оборону.
Но дух востроянцев им не сломить.
Подкрепления к гвардии снова идёт
И всем хаоситам их не убить.
Лишь один из Детей Императора смог.
Убивая всех, достиг имперских окоп.
И предстал перед старшим братом:
«Посмотри на меня! Я стал солдатом!»
«Я убил сотни ваших,
Хаоса сила лежит во мне!
Что бы сказали родители наши,
Посмотрев на меня, и сравнив с тобой!?"
Старший ответил: «Зачем, брат мой?
Хоть ты не гвардеец, я горд тобой!
Но предательством наш род опозорил
за это лазган тебе смерть принесёт!»
Выстрелил старший, но тёмные боги
младшему дали последний удар.
Сделав шаг по последний дороге,
Брат убил брата, нанеся удар.
Братья погибли, прервался их род.
Вместе они отправились в варп.
зависть в себе лишь погибель несёт.
будь собой и будь этому рад.
