Delicate Sound of Thunder (в пер. с англ. — Нежный звук грома) — двойной концертный альбом английской рок-группы Pink Floyd, записанный во время пяти концертов в августе 1988 года на стадионе Nassau Coliseum (США, Нью-Йорк, Лонг-Айленд). В сентябре на студии Эбби Роуд было произведено сведение, а релиз был осуществлён 22 ноября 1988 года лейблами EMI Records в Великобритании и Columbia Records в Соединённых Штатах.
В ноябре 1987 года участники группы уже пытались записать концертные фильм и альбом во время выступления на Omni Coliseum (США, Джорджия, Атланта), но получившийся в итоге результат оказался неудовлетворительным. Записи получились довольно неудачными, поэтому их решили не издавать отдельным диском, а лишь включить некоторые из треков бонусами в синглы к альбому A Momentary Lapse of Reason. После этого группа предприняла вторую попытку создания концертного альбома и устроила с этой целью пять ночных концертов на стадионе Nassau Coliseum, по окончании которых музыканты вернулись в Англию и на студии Эбби Роуд собрали получившийся материал в отдельную пластинку Delicate Sound of Thunder.
Delicate Sound of Thunder стал первым рок-альбомом, прозвучавшим в космосе, так как советские космонавты взяли его на Союз ТМ-7. Члены Pink Floyd присутствовали при запуске корабля. К тому же Delicate Sound of Thunder был единственным альбомом Pink Floyd, выпущенным фирмой «Мелодия» в СССР официально.

Delicate Sound Of Thunder (in Per. From English - Gentle Sound of Thunder) - Double Concert Album English Rock Floyd Concert Album, recorded during five concerts in August 1988 at Nassau Coliseum Stadium (USA, New York, Long Island ). In September, a reduction was made at the Ebby Road Studio, and the release was carried out on November 22, 1988 by Emi Records labels in the UK and Columbia Records in the United States.
In November 1987, the group participants had already tried to record concert film and an album while performing at Omni Coliseum (USA, Georgia, Atlanta), but the result turned out to be unsatisfactory. The records were quite unsuccessful, so they decided not to make a separate disk, but only include some of the tracks bonuses in singles to the album a Momentary Lapse of Reason. After that, the group took the second attempt to create a concert album and arranged for this very night concerts at the Nassau Coliseum stadium, at the end of which the musicians returned to England and at Ebby Road Studios collected the resulting material in a separate Delicate Sound of Thunder.
Delicate Sound Of Thunder became the first rock album that sounded in space, as Soviet astronauts took him to the Union of TM-7. Pink Floyd members attended when the ship is started. In addition, Delicate Sound Of Thunder was the only album of Pink Floyd, issued by the company "Melody" in the USSR officially.
