The Works подарил миру два знаменитых хита: «Radio Ga Ga» и «I Want to Break Free», однако теперь, оглядываясь назад, его почему-то не относят к лучшим дискам группы. «I Want to Break Free» стала официальным гимном Африканского Национального Конгресса, а акустическая композиция «Is This the World We Created…?»

The Works is Queen's eleventh studio album, released on February 27, 1984.
The Works gave the world two famous hits: "Radio Ga Ga" and "I Want to Break Free", but now, looking back, for some reason it is not considered to be the best disc of the group. It went double platinum though and has sold five million copies. Selected songs were then regularly performed at concerts, in particular, on "Live Aid" in 1985, when the rhythm of the song "Radio Ga Ga" was clapped by 76 thousand people. "I Want to Break Free" became the official anthem of the African National Congress, and the acoustic track "Is This the World We Created ...?" is still relevant today, more than 20 years later.
