Под сенью гор, в мрачной долине,Развалины замка одиноко стоят,
Этот замок прекрасной графини,
Что сеяла ужас много веков назад.
Сияла она, как луна среди ночи,
Подобно волчицы душою была,
Невинные жертвы её привлекали,
Без криков и стонов она не могла.
Без мук и страданий она умирала,
Жажда крови жила в ней всегда,
Красавиц в свой замок она завлекала,
И ни одна не осталась жива.
По замку их души бродили во тьме,
Слуги боялись забыться во сне,
Бежали из замка, спасая жизнь,
А в замке осталась одна лишь нежить.
Люди кругом обходить замок стали,
Мрачные стены опасность внушали,
В полнолунье летали тени во мгле,
Охотясь на людей, пребывавших во сне.
Сон предвещал ужас и страх,
Очнувшихся ждал мрак и кошмар,
Пытались все скрыться от крепости мрачной,
Но тьма настигала всё же несчастных.
Вскоре опустели деревни в округе,
Гнили сараи, гнили и срубы,
И замок долго стоять не смог,
Обрушались стены, осыпался ров.
Башни замка, как клыки тьмы,
На равнину взирали со своей высоты,
Лишь только ворота остались на месте,
Могилу закрыв, преградив в неё вход.
В безжизненный сон погружён этот замок,
Окутан луною, холодною мглою,
Блуждающий путник сюда забредёт,
В ночной тишине вдруг послышится вой,
Он призрак древний узрит пред собой.
В тот час же покроется кровью луна,
Из замка навстречу выйдет она,
Прекрасна, как ночью цветущий сад,
Ужасен голодный, блистающий взгляд,
Под чарами смерти, теряющий силы,
В безумье, срывая распятье с себя,
Он чувствовал холод манящей могилы.

But the darkness still overtook the unfortunate.
Soon the villages around were empty
Rotting sheds, rotting and logs,
And the castle could not stand for a long time,
Walls collapsed, a moat crumbled.
Castle towers, like fangs of darkness,
They looked at the plain from their height,
As soon as the gate remained in place
Closing the grave, blocking the entrance to it.
This castle is immersed in lifeless sleep,
Shrouded in the moon, cold haze,
A wandering traveler will wander here,
In the silence of the night, a howl is suddenly heard,
He will see the ancient ghost before him.
The moon will be covered with blood at once,
She will come out of the castle to meet
As beautiful as a blooming garden at night,
Terrible hungry, shining eyes,
Under the spell of death, losing strength
In madness, ripping the crucifix from myself,
