«Орлик» молодий здіймався, -

Він до друзів відзивався:
«Гей, юнацтво ви орлине,
понад хмари, дайте, злинем –
сонце, простір тут і воля,
в гору кличе орлів доля…»
і на «Орлика», зов смілий
тисячі орлят злетіли…
він приніс їх до ідеї,
вчив як працювати для неї.
Він ОУН юнацтво жваве
кинув сміло в бій кривавий
з ворогами батьківщини
за ідею України .
Сам на чолі друзів линув
Вождь ідеї і вождь чину,
І за милу Україну
У змагу завзятім згинув
Хоч впаав «Орлик» з рук ворожих,
Та юнацтва дух не зможе.
Не помре ввіки не загине

Над степами над лісами,
