Уважаемые граждане России! Дорогие ветераны Великой Отечественной войны!Товарищи солдаты и матросы, сержанты и старшины! Товарищи офицеры, генералы и адмиралы!
Сердечно поздравляю вас с Днём Великой Победы – с праздником, который всегда был и останется самым народным, самым священным и который уже навеки стал символом нашего национального единства!
Приветствую всех ветеранов Великой Отечественной! Вы не позволили поставить страну на колени и дали своим потомкам уроки истинного патриотизма. Это благодаря вам 9 Мая навсегда останется днём освобождения нашего народа, днём, с которого начался новый период мировой истории.
Наши отцы и деды вынесли нечеловеческие испытания, но отстояли суверенитет и независимость Родины, дали всем нам заряд великой веры – веры в торжество правды и самой жизни, в нашу национальную силу, самостоятельность и свободу и открыли многим поколениям эпоху мирных свершений и побед.
Мы встречаем уже 63-й победный май. Но трудные годы Великой Отечественной никогда не будут забыты. Мы лишь глубже понимаем их определяющий, судьбоносный для мира характер и всё больше осознаём, насколько драматичная судьба выпала на долю военного поколения.
В те грозные годы плечом к плечу сражались с врагом люди самых разных национальностей. И сегодня День Победы отмечают миллионы граждан не только нашей страны, но и государств СНГ, дальнего зарубежья. Его отмечают все, кто чтит подвиг народов, разгромивших фашизм. И чем дальше события той страшной войны, тем дороже наше вековое братство и солидарность, тем выше наша общая ответственность за дела на планете.
История мировых войн предупреждает: вооруженные конфликты не рождаются сами по себе. Их «поджигают» те, чьи безответственные амбиции берут верх над интересами стран и целых континентов, над интересами миллионов людей. И потому мы должны помнить уроки той войны и каждый день делать всё, чтобы такие трагедии не повторялись.
Надо крайне серьёзно относиться к любым попыткам посеять расовую или религиозную вражду, разжечь идеологию террора и экстремизма, к намерениям вторгаться в дела других государств, а тем более – к попыткам пересмотра границ.
Нельзя допускать пренебрежения нормами международного права – права, которое было выстрадано всем мировым сообществом, права, без которого невозможна безопасная жизнь и справедливый миропорядок.

Мы встречаем 9 Мая военным парадом, где пройдут в едином строю наследники Победы. Это они – сыновья и внуки солдат Великой Отечественной – чествуют сегодня главных героев Дня Победы, тех, кто участвовал в танковых сражениях и воздушных боях, кто поднимался в атаку и бил фашистов на морских рубежах и кто хорошо понимает: истинное назначе

I heartily congratulate you on the Great Victory Day - on a holiday that has always been and will remain the most popular, the most sacred and which has forever become a symbol of our national unity!
Greetings to all veterans of the Great Patriotic War! You were not allowed to bring the country to its knees and gave your descendants the lessons of true patriotism. Thanks to you, May 9 will forever remain the day of liberation of our people, the day from which a new period of world history began.
Our fathers and grandfathers endured inhuman trials, but defended the sovereignty and independence of the Motherland, gave us all the charge of great faith - faith in the triumph of truth and life itself, in our national strength, independence and freedom, and opened the era of peaceful accomplishments and victories to many generations.
We are already meeting the 63rd victorious May. But the difficult years of World War II will never be forgotten. We only more deeply understand their defining, fateful character for the world and more and more we realize how dramatic fate fell to the share of the military generation.
In those terrible years, people of various nationalities fought shoulder to shoulder with the enemy. And today, Victory Day is celebrated by millions of citizens not only of our country, but also of the CIS countries and foreign countries. It is celebrated by all who honor the feat of the peoples who defeated fascism. And the further the events of that terrible war, the more expensive our centuries-old brotherhood and solidarity, the higher our common responsibility for affairs on the planet.
The history of world wars warns: armed conflicts are not born on their own. They are “set on fire” by those whose irresponsible ambitions prevail over the interests of countries and entire continents, over the interests of millions of people. And therefore, we must remember the lessons of that war and do everything every day so that such tragedies do not happen again.
We must be very serious about any attempts to sow racial or religious hatred, to incite the ideology of terror and extremism, to intentions to intrude into the affairs of other states, and even more so to attempts to revise borders.
Neglect of the norms of international law should not be allowed - the law that has been plagued by the entire world community, the law, without which a safe life and a fair world order are impossible.
