Покрытый снегом пик вознесся до небес,Сдаваться не привык без боя Эверест.
Срывал палатки он, наотмашь ветром бил,
И все же покорен, и все же уступил.
Жаль, конечно, что не мы
На вершине в этот миг,
Но не стоит на судьбу таить обид.
Есть он, в каждой жизни есть,
Свой невзятый Эверест,
На него еще взойти нам предстоит.
Глядят из-под руки с победной высоты
Герои-смельчаки, достигшие мечты.
Последний сделав шаг, глядят на белый свет,
Но мир устроен так – мечте предела нет.
