Боги и демоны братья, как день и ночь.Праджапати родил их и дал им речь.
В речи была правда, и в речи была ложь.
В ней было поровну правды и лжи.
В речи демонов была половина правды.
В речи богов была половина лжи.
Демоны не любили правду, но любили ложь.
Боги не любили ложь, но любили правду.
Правда, которая была у демонов, сказала:

И богатства их росли как солёные земли.
А боги стали говорить только правду.
Они не говорили ничего кроме правды.
И боги стали слабыми и проигрывали все битвы.
И богатства их не росли как солёные земли.
Ибо ложь - это сила, богатство и победы.
Ибо правда - это слабость, бедность и поражения.
Знающий это знает всю правду жизни.
Знающий только это не знает истины.
Боги молили Праджапати об истине.
Боги приносили в жертву животное.
Демоны пришли и пожрали их жертву.
