Понял вдруг солдат, чего хочет…
Вот и я пришёл, поквитаться бы,
Я для вас такой же хочу судьбы,
Станете вы платой за гибель близких.
И в глаза глядят и молчат в ответ
Девушка старуха и безногий дед,
И на бедной скатерти пустая миска.
И молча сев на стул он сошёл с ума,
