Молитва 3го века: "На нас возложено прославлять Господина всего мира,Провозглашать величие Создателя вселенной.
Ибо Он не сделал нас подобными народам мира,
Не дал нам быть похожими на племена земные.
Он дал нам не их удел, и не ту судьбу, что всем их полчищам.
Ибо они поклоняются пустоте и тщете и молятся божествам, которые не спасают.
Мы же преклоняем колена и падаем ниц,
и возносим благодарность Царю царей, Святому Творцу, благословен Он.
Он простер небеса и утвердил землю,
и престол Славы Его – небесные выси,
и обитель могущества Его – высоты высот.
Он, и никто иной, властвует над нами.
Воистину Он – Царь наш, и нет иного.
Как написано в Торе Его: «И узнаешь ты в тот день, и примешь сердцем своим,
что Господь – единственный Бог, от небесных высей и до земных глубин нет иного."
