ЯВЛЕНИЕ ЧЕТВЁРТОЕДлинный кортеж женщин в великолепных одеждах медленно выходит из двери кеменаты на балкон, направляясь влево, шествует по главному пути, мимо палласа, к собору, на ступеньках которого размещаются идущие первыми. – Среди кортежа появляется Эльза; дворяне почтительно обнажают головы.

(Дворяне, невольно опять загородившие путь, снова расступаются перед пажами, которые расчищают дорогу кортежу, уже дошедшему до палласа. – Эльза достигла возвышения перед ним; путь вновь совсем свободен, и все могут видеть Эльзу, которая на несколько мгновений остановилась.)
