1. Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида.2. Небеса проповедуют славу Божию, и о делах рук Его вещает твердь.
3. День дню передает речь, и ночь ночи открывает знание.
4. Нет языка, и нет наречия, где не слышался бы голос их.
5. По всей земле проходит звук их, и до пределов вселенной слова их. Он поставил в них жилище солнцу,
6. и оно выходит, как жених из брачного чертога своего, радуется, как исполин, пробежать поприще:
7. от края небес исход его, и шествие его до края их, и ничто не укрыто от теплоты его.
8. Закон Господа совершен, укрепляет душу; откровение Господа верно, умудряет простых.
9. Повеления Господа праведны, веселят сердце; заповедь Господа светла, просвещает очи.
10. Страх Господень чист, пребывает вовек. Суды Господни истина, все праведны;
11. они вожделеннее золота и даже множества золота чистого, слаще меда и капель сота;
12. и раб Твой охраняется ими, в соблюдении их великая награда.
13. Кто усмотрит погрешности свои? От тайных моих очисти меня
14. и от умышленных удержи раба Твоего, чтобы не возобладали мною. Тогда я буду непорочен и чист от великого развращения.
15. Да будут слова уст моих и помышление сердца моего благоугодны пред Тобою, Господи, твердыня моя и Избавитель мой!

1. To the head of the choir. Psalm of David.2. The heavens proclaim the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims His handiwork.
3. Day to day conveys speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.
4. There is no tongue, and no dialect, where their voice is not heard.
5. Their sound goes through all the earth, and their words to the ends of the universe. He made them a dwelling place for the sun,
6.And it goes out like a bridegroom from his bridal chamber, rejoices like a giant to run the race:
7. From the end of heaven is his departure, and his procession to the end of them, and nothing is hidden from his warmth.
8. The law of the Lord is perfect, strengthens the soul; the revelation of the Lord is true, makes wise the simple.
9. The commands of the Lord are righteous, gladden the heart; the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightens the eyes.
10. The fear of the Lord is pure, endures forever. The judgments of the Lord are true, all are righteous;
11. They are more coveted than gold and even more pure gold, sweeter than honey and honeycomb drops;
12. and Thy servant is guarded by them, in keeping them is a great reward.
13. Who will discern his faults? Cleanse me from my secrets
14. And keep thy servant from the willful, so that they may not prevail over me. Then I will be blameless and clean from great corruption.
15. May the words of my mouth and the thought of my heart be delighted before Thee, O Lord, my strength and my Deliverer!
