Лёжа тихо один я смотрел в темноту
Лишь безмолвию ночи внимал я
Бездна тьмы сквозь себя пропускала меня
Звезды в небе шептались, сияя.
Было всё как всегда, только чувство
Чьего то присутствия одолевало
Увлекая меня в странных мыслей поток
Мне уснуть оно не давало
Но из дум моих вырвал меня желтый свет,
Что вкруг моего тела разлился
Он был ярок и в нем сам владыка ночной
Дух величественный появился.
Он - высок был, красив, но глаза
Его черную суть выдавали
В их горящей глуби, словно искорки льда
Тайных знаний осколки сияли.
Глядя в душу мне, холодом леденя
Он воззвал к черным бесам - прислужникам ночи
В тот же миг, возникая возле меня
Сотня сущностей внутрь мне вперила очи
Улыбнувшись, тот демон подал руку мне
Лишь я взял её - мы понеслись вдаль
Мимо мира людей, мимо мира богов
Мимо жизни и смерти туда, где правит печаль.
Там я видел как солнце бежит на восток
И луна его тут же сменяет
Остается лишь жизнь и она
Свой ход в сторону смерти меняет...
Двери древнего храма открылись пред мной
И я чувствовал - тьма набегает
Окружает меня словно толстой стеной
И в объятья упасть предлагает.
О глупец! Если б я понимал тогда,
Что назад мне дороги не будет
Я унесся бы прочь не оставив следа
Но теперь обречен я на вечные муки.
Любопытство - тяжелый мой крест
Тянет в пропасть меня, что зияет
Под моими ногами и там,
Вновь я духов безумных встречаю.
Я теряюсь, не знаю куда мне бежать,
А они плотным кругом меня окружают
И спешат сообщить мне: "Теперь то ты наш,
Мы на службу тебя призываем!"
Всё то время пока буду жить на земле
Буду слушать я их приказанья
Ну а как только смерть прикоснется ко мне
Уподоблюсь им сам я.
Я не знал сколько времени там я провел
Может день, может два, может целую вечность...
Но очнулся я там, где забрали меня
В темноту, пустоту, бесконечность.
Золотая стрела восходящего солнца
Озарила мой лик, приласкала теплом
И я думал, что произошедшее - сон был
Утро всё убеждал себя в том.
Но бессилен я есть против этих созданий
И желая себя убедить в том, что явью не был
Мой таинственный сон, я ощупал себя -
Всё в порядке кроме пары отметин на теле моём
Встав с кровати и к зеркалу подошедши
Я подумал, что лучше бы мне
Больше вообще на себя не смотреться...
Смерти печать я увидел в глазах своих

But now I'm doomed to eternal torment.
Curiosity is my heavy cross
Pulls me into the abyss that gaping
