После Евангелия следует сугубая ектения. Затем следует тройная ектения за умерших, ектения об оглашенных и, наконец, ектения с повелением оглашенным оставить храм.В ектениях об оглашенных диакон молится от лица всех людей, чтобы Господь просветил оглашенных словом Евангельской истины, удостоил их Св. Крещения и присоединил их к Св. Церкви.
Одновременно с диаконом и священник читает молитву, в которой просит, чтобы Господь “на высоких живый” и обращающий внимание на смиренных, призрел бы и на рабов Своих оглашенных, сподобил бы их “бани пакибытия”, то есть Св. Крещения, одежды нетления и соединил бы Святей Церкви. Затем, как бы продолжая мысли этой молитвы, священник говорит возглас:
“Да и тии с нами славят пречестное и великолепое Имя Твое, Отца и Сына, и Святаго Духа, ныне и присно и во веки веков”.
Чтобы и те (то есть оглашенные) вместе с нами прославляли, Господи, Твое Пречистое и Величественное имя — Отца и Сына, и Св. Духа, ныне и присно и во веки веков.
Несомненно, что моления за оглашенных касаются и крестившихся, потому что мы, крестившиеся, очень часто грешим без раскаяния, недостаточно ясно знаем свою веру православную и присутствием в храме без должного благоговения. В настоящее время также могут быть и подлинно оглашенные, то есть готовящиеся ко Св. Крещению из инородцев.

Then, as if continuing the thoughts of this prayer, the priest says an exclamation:
"Yes, and those with us glorify Your most honorable and magnificent Name, Father and Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever and forever and ever."
So that those (that is, the catechumens) glorify together with us, Lord, Your Most Pure and Majestic name - the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever and ever.
Undoubtedly, the prayers for the catechumens also concern those who are baptized, because we who have been baptized very often sin without repentance, we do not know our Orthodox faith clearly enough and by being present in church without due reverence. At the present time, there may also be genuinely catechumens, that is, those who are preparing for Holy Baptism from among foreigners.
