О, вечности Древо, чьи корни впиваются в мракВгрызаясь в пристанище Хаоса, Бури и Тьмы, -
Открой же, поведай незыблемый страх,
От ока скрываемый в недрах Земли...
Разверни же Бездну, сотри грань миров;
Познаньем наполни туманный мой взор.
Пусть стойкость рассудка прозренью цена, -
Ты в бешенство грез всё ж низвергни меня!
Я вижу величье подземных Богов,
Их темные силы, богатство и власть,
Несметных сокровищ манящий узор,
Священным проклятьем сокрытый в горах.
Я слышу журчанье рек Мертвой воды,
Текущих в дымящих долинах Огня;
И шепот томящихся Духов Земли
Незримых заклятья в нетленных устах.
Свой облик являет Божественный Змей -
С златыми рогами, о трех головах;
Ты Правду поведай, Властитель Глубин,
Шипеньем пусть горечь прольется Твоя.
"Но тот ты, что Духов способен понять,
Познал ли, что Ствол это гниль?
Иль вериш досели, ты, в "зло" и "добро":
Так знай же, что все это пыль!
Быть может винишь, ты, безумье Богов
В проклятье и бедах земных?
Так внемли же смертный, ответ мой таков:
Виною здесь алчность слепых!
И злато Бессмертных померкнет в руках,
Ладони сверкнув обагрит,
И Духом огня ненасытный глупец
В мучениях будет убит.
Мы Духи Природы - в нас суть бытия,
Не ведом нам смерти предел, -
Но все же людей (по законам Отцов)
Жестокий ждет, страшный удел!"
Теперь же ты дремлешь, обвившись в Корнях;
Ты, истин поведавший светлую суть.
Ты спишь, но в бессонии память Твоя, -
Не в силах бессонного ока сомкнуть.
О, Вечности Древо, ты ось Бытия,
Ты - свет, озаренье и тьма!
Я ж ввернутый в землю, заблудший в мирах
Неси же Ты к Небу меня...

Invisible spells in imperishable lips.
The Divine Serpent reveals its appearance -
With golden horns, about three heads;
Tell the Truth, Lord of the Depths,
With hissing let thy bitterness be shed.
"But that you that the Spirits are able to understand,
Did the Trunk know that it's rot?
Ile verish have arrived, you, in "evil" and "good":
So know that all this is dust!
Maybe you blame the madness of the gods
In the curse and misfortunes of the earth?
So hear the mortal, my answer is:
The greed here is the greed of the blind!
And the gold of the Immortals will fade in their hands,
Palms sparkling tan
And the Spirit of Fire is an insatiable fool
In torment he will be killed.
We are the Spirits of Nature - in us the essence of being,
The limit is not known to us death, -
