Библейские чтения. Пятница третьей седмицыКнига пророка Исаии. Глава 13, стихи 2-13.
2 Поднимите знамя на открытой горе, возвысьте голос; махните им рукою, чтобы шли в ворота властелинов.
3 Я дал повеление избранным Моим и призвал для совершения гнева Моего сильных Моих, торжествующих в величии Моем.
4 Большой шум на горах, как бы от многолюдного народа, мятежный шум царств и народов, собравшихся вместе: Господь Саваоф обозревает боевое войско.
5 Идут из отдаленной страны, от края неба, Господь и орудия гнева Его, чтобы сокрушить всю землю.
6 Рыдайте, ибо день Господа близок, идет как разрушительная сила от Всемогущего.
7 Оттого руки у всех опустились, и сердце у каждого человека растаяло.
8 Ужаснулись, судороги и боли схватили их; мучатся, как рождающая, с изумлением смотрят друг на друга, лица у них разгорелись.
9 Вот, приходит день Господа лютый, с гневом и пылающею яростью, чтобы сделать землю пустынею и истребить с нее грешников ее.
10 Звезды небесные и светила не дают от себя света; солнце меркнет при восходе своем, и луна не сияет светом своим.
11 Я накажу мир за зло, и нечестивых – за беззакония их, и положу конец высокоумию гордых, и уничижу надменность притеснителей;
12 сделаю то, что люди будут дороже чистого золота, и мужи – дороже золота Офирского.
13 Для сего потрясу небо, и земля сдвинется с места своего от ярости Господа Саваофа, в день пылающего гнева Его.
Бытие. Глава 8, стихи 4-21.
4 И остановился ковчег в седьмом месяце, в семнадцатый день месяца, на горах Араратских.
5 Вода постоянно убывала до десятого месяца; в первый день десятого месяца показались верхи гор.
6 По прошествии сорока дней Ной открыл сделанное им окно ковчега
7 и выпустил ворона, [чтобы видеть, убыла ли вода с земли,] который, вылетев, отлетал и прилетал, пока осушилась земля от воды.
8 Потом выпустил от себя голубя, чтобы видеть, сошла ли вода с лица земли,
9 но голубь не нашел места покоя для ног своих и возвратился к нему в ковчег, ибо вода была еще на поверхности всей земли; и он простер руку свою, и взял его, и принял к себе в ковчег.
10 И помедлил еще семь дней других и опять выпустил голубя из ковчега.
11 Голубь возвратился к нему в вечернее время, и вот, свежий масличный лист во рту у него, и Ной узнал, что вода сошла с земли.
12 Он помедлил еще семь дней других и [опять] выпустил голубя; и он уже не возвратился к нему.
13 Шестьсот первого года [жизни Ноевой] к первому [дню] первого месяца иссякла вода на земле; и открыл Ной кровлю ковчега и посмотрел, и вот, обсохла поверхность земли.
14 И во втором месяце, к двадцать седьмому дню месяца, земля высохла.
15 И сказал [Господь] Бог Ною:
16 выйди из ковчега ты и жена твоя, и сыновья твои, и жены сынов твоих с тобою;
17 выведи с собою всех животных, которые с тобою, от всякой плоти, из птиц, и скотов, и всех гадов, пресмыкающихся по земле: пусть разойдутся они по земле, и пусть плодятся и размножаются на земле.
18 И вышел Ной и сыновья его, и жена его, и жены сынов его с ним;
19 все звери, и [весь скот, и] все гады, и все птицы, все движущееся по земле, по родам своим, вышли из ковчега.
20 И устроил Ной жертвенник Господу; и взял из всякого скота чистого и из всех птиц чистых и принес во всесожжение на жертвеннике.
21 И обонял Господь приятное благоухание, и сказал Господь [Бог] в сердце Своем: не буду больше проклинать землю за человека, потому что помышление сердца человеческого – зло от юности его; и не буду больше поражать всего живущего, как Я сделал:
Притчи Соломона. Глава 10, стихи 31, 32. Глава 11, стихи 1-12.
31 Уста праведника источают мудрость, а язык зловредный отсечется.
32 Уста праведного знают благоприятное, а уста нечестивых – развращенное.
ГЛАВА 11.
1 Неверные весы – мерзость пред Господом, но правильный вес угоден Ему.
2 Придет гордость, придет и посрамление; но со смиренными – мудрость. [Праведник, умирая, оставляет сожаление; но внезапна и радостна бывает погибель нечестивых.] 3Непорочность прямодушных будет руководить их, а лукавство коварных погубит их.
4 Не поможет богатство в день гнева, правда же спасет от смерти.
5 Правда непорочного уравнивает путь его, а нечестивый падет от нечестия своего.
6 Правда прямодушных спасет их, а беззаконники будут уловлены беззаконием своим.
7 Со смертью человека нечестивого исчезает надежда, и ожидание беззаконных погибает.
8 Праведник спасается от беды, а вместо него попадает в нее нечестивый.
9 Устами лицемер губит ближнего своего, но праведники прозорливостью спасаются.
10 При благоденствии праведников веселится город, и при погибели нечестивых бывает торжество.
11 Благословением праведных возвышается город, а устами нечестивых разрушается.
12 Скудоумный высказывает презрение к ближнему своему; но разумный человек молчит.

Biblical reading. Friday the third weekThe Book of the Prophet Isaiah. Chapter 13, verses 2-13.
2 Lift up the banner in the open mountain, lift up the voice; wave it with your hand to go to the gate of the lords.
3 I gave command to my elect, and called for the accomplishment of my anger of my strength, which triumphs in my majesty.
4 Great noise on the mountains, as if from a crowded people, a rebellious noise of kingdoms and nations gathered together: The Lord of Hosts is surveying a military force.
5 They come from a far country, from the end of the sky, the Lord and the instruments of His wrath to crush the whole earth.
6 Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand, coming as a destructive force from the Almighty.
7 Therefore, all hands have fallen, and each person's heart has melted.
8 They were terrified, convulsions and pains seized them; tormented like a bearer, look at each other in amazement, their faces flamed.
9 Behold, the day of the Lord comes fierce, with wrath and fervent fury, to make the earth a wilderness, and to cut off her sinners from her.
10 The stars of heaven and the stars do not give light from themselves; the sun fades at its rising, and the moon does not shine with its light.
11 I will punish the world for evil, and the wicked for their iniquity, and I will put an end to the high pride of the proud, and I will despise the arrogance of the oppressors;
12 I will do that men will be more precious than pure gold, and men, more precious than Ophir gold.
13 For this I shake the heaven, and the earth shall move from its place, because of the fury of the LORD of hosts, in the day of his burning wrath.
Being. Chapter 8, verses 4-21.
4 And the ark stopped in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat.
5 Water constantly decreased until the tenth month; on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains appeared.
6 After forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he made
7 And he sent forth a raven [to see if the water from the earth had waned], which flew away, flew and flew as long as the land was drained of water.
8 Then he sent forth a dove from himself to see if the water had come down from the face of the earth,
9 But the dove did not find a place of rest for its feet, and returned to it in the ark, for the water was still on the surface of the whole earth; and he put forth his hand, and took it, and took him into his ark.
10 And he tarried another seven days of the others, and again sent forth the dove from the ark.
11 The dove returned to him in the evening, and, behold, a fresh oil leaf in his mouth, and Noah found out that the water had come down from the earth.
12 He tarried another seven days of the other, and [again] released the dove; and he no longer returned to him.
13 The sixth hundredth year [of the life of Noah] by the first [day] of the first month, the water on the earth was running out; And Noah opened the roof of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the surface of the earth was dried.
14 And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth dried up.
15 And the LORD said unto Noah,
16 Come out of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee:
17 Bring forth with you all the animals that are with thee, from all flesh, from birds, and from beasts, and from every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth: let them go abroad on the earth, and let them multiply and multiply on the earth.
18 And Noah went out, and his sons, and his wife, and the wives of his sons with him;
19 All the beasts, and all the creeping things, and all the birds, all that moveeth through the earth after their generations, have come out of the ark.
20 And Noah built an altar to Jehovah; And he took of every clean beast out of every flock, and of all clean birds, and offered a burnt offering on the altar.
21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savor, and the LORD said in his heart, I will no longer curse the ground for a man, because the mind of the heart of a man is evil from his youth; and I will no more smite all that live, as I have done:
Proverbs of Solomon. Chapter 10, verses 31, 32. Chapter 11, verses 1-12.
31 The mouth of the righteous exudes wisdom, but the evil tongue is cut off.
32 The lips of the righteous know the things that are favorable, but the mouth of the wicked is corrupt.
CHAPTER 11.
1 Wrong scales are an abomination to the Lord, but the right weight is pleasing to Him.
2 Pride comes, and shame comes; but with the humble - wisdom. [The righteous man, when he dies, leaves his regret; but sudden and joyful is the perdition of the wicked.] 3 The unrighteousness of the upright will guide them, but the guile of the wicked will destroy them.
4 Riches will not help in the day of wrath, but the truth will save from death.
5 The righteousness of the undefiled makes his way equal, and the wicked one will fall from his wickedness.
6 The righteousness of the upright will save them, but the wrongdoers will be caught in their lawlessness.
7 With the death of a man of the wicked, hope disappears, and the expectation of the wicked perishes.
8 A righteous man is saved from adversity, but the wicked is in his stead.
9 By the mouth a hypocrite destroys his neighbor, but the righteous are saved by perspicacity.
10 With the prosperity of the righteous, the city rejoices, and when the wicked perish, there is a triumph.
11 The city rises with the blessing of the righteous, and is destroyed by the mouth of the wicked.
12 He that is low speaks his neighbor contemptuously; but a reasonable person is silent.
