"И увидел я новое небо и новую землю; ибо прежнее небо и прежняя земля миновали" (Откр. 21:1). Огонь, уничтоживший нечестивых, очищает землю. Удален всякий след проклятия. Не будет напоминать искупленным о страшных последствиях греха вечно пылающий ад. Навеки останется только одно: следы распятия на теле нашего Искупителя, раны на Его некогда окровавленном челе, на боку, на руках и ногах - единственное напоминание о жестокости греха."А ты, башня стада, холм дщери Сиона! к тебе придет и возвратится прежнее владычество" (Мих. 4:8). Христос вернул Себе владычество над царством, потерянным из-за греха, и дал его искупленным в вечное владение. "Праведники наследуют землю, и будут жить на ней вовек" (Пс. 36:29). Существовало опасение, что будущее наследие искупленных покажется слишком материальным, и поэтому многие пытались дать лишь духовное толкование даже тем истинам, которые позволяют нам смотреть на нашу будущую отчизну как на свой дом. Христос заверил Своих учеников, что Он для них идет приготовить обители в доме Отца Своего. Те, кто принимают учение Слова Божьего, не будут находиться в полном неведении о небесных обителях. И все же апостол Павел провозглашает: "Не видел того глаз, не слышало ухо, и не приходило то на сердце человеку, что приготовил Бот любящим Его" (1 Кор. 2:9). Человеческий язык неспособен описать награду праведных. Она станет понятной только тем; кто увидит ее. Ни один ограниченный разум не в состоянии постичь славу и великолепие Божьего рая.
В Библии наследие спасенных названо "отечеством" (Евр. 11:14-16). Там Небесный Пастырь водит Своих овец к источникам воды живой. Там дерево жизни ежемесячно приносит свои плоды, и листья его служат для блага народов. Там текут вечные потоки, чистые, как кристалл, и вдоль них растущие деревья бросают свою тень на тропинки, приготовленные для искупленных Господа. Там обширные долины плавно переходят в прекрасные холмы, и горы Божьи вздымают свои вершины. Там, в мирных долинах, на берегах живых потоков, спасенные Божьи - эти усталые скитальцы и путники - наконец обретут свой дом.
Новый Иерусалим
Новый Иерусалим - город, который "имеет славу Божию; светило его подобно драгоценнейшему камню, как бы камню яспису кристалловидному" (Откр. 21:11). Господь говорит: "И буду радоваться об Иерусалиме и веселиться о народе Моем" (Ис. 65:19). "Скиния Бога с человеками, и Он будет обитать с ними; они будут Его народом, и Сам Бог с ними будет Богом их; и отрет Бог всякую слезу с очей их, и смерти не будет уже; ни плача, ни вопля, ни болезни уже не будет; ибо прежнее прошло" (Откр. 21:3, 4).
"В городе Божьем не будет ночи". Никто не будет нуждаться в отдыхе или жаждать его. Исполнение воли Божьей и прославление Его имени не вызовет усталости. Мы всегда будем ощущать свежесть бесконечного утра. "И не будут иметь нужды ни в светильнике, ни в свете солнечном, ибо Господь Бог освещает их". Солнечные лучи заменит приятное мягкое сияние, во много раз превосходящее полуденный блеск светила. Слава Бога и Агнца немеркнущим светом озарит Святой город. Искупленные будут жить во славе и свете вечного дня, во свете, который исходит не от солнца.
"Храма же я не видел в нем; ибо Господь Бог Вседержитель - храм его, и Агнец" (Откр. 21:22). Народ Божий обретет преимущество свободно общаться с Отцом и Сыном. "Теперь мы видим как бы сквозь тусклое стекло, гадательно" (1 Кор. 13:12). Мы созерцаем образ Божий, отраженный, как в зеркале, в творениях природы и в Его отношениях с людьми, но тогда мы увидим Его лицом к лицу, между нами не станет разделяющей завесы. Мы будем находиться в Его присутствии и видеть славу Его лица.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth were passed away " (Revelation 21: 1). The fire that destroyed the wicked cleanses the earth. Removed every trace of the curse. It will not remind the redeemable hell of the terrible consequences of sin. Forever remains only one: the traces of the crucifixion on the body of our Redeemer, the wounds on His once bloody forehead, on his side, on his hands and feet - the only reminder of the cruelty of sin.And thou, the tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion! The former dominion will come to you and return " (Micah 4: 8). Christ restored dominion over Himself to the kingdom lost because of sin, and gave it to the redeemed in eternal possession. The righteous inherit the earth, and they will live on it forever. " (Psalm 36:29). There was a fear that the future legacy of the redeemed would seem too material, and so many tried to give only spiritual interpretation even to the truths that allow us to look at our future homeland as our own home. Christ assured His disciples that He is going to prepare for them the abodes in His Father's house. Those who accept the teaching of the Word of God will not be completely ignorant of the heavenly abodes. And yet the apostle Paul declares: "The eye did not see, the ear did not hear, and it did not come to the man's heart that Boat prepared for those who love Him" (1 Corinthians 2: 9). The human language is incapable of describing the reward of the righteous. It will become clear only to those; who will see it. No limited mind can comprehend the glory and splendor of God's paradise.
In the Bible, the heritage of the saved is called the "fatherland" (Hebrews 11: 14-16). There the Heavenly Shepherd leads His sheep to the sources of living water. There, the tree of life yields its fruits every month, and its leaves serve the good of the people. There flow eternal streams, pure as a crystal, and along them growing trees cast their shadow on paths prepared for the redeemed Lord. There, vast valleys smoothly pass into beautiful hills, and the mountains of God uplift their peaks. There, in peaceful valleys, on the shores of living streams, the saved Gods - these weary wanderers and travelers - will finally find their home.
New Jerusalem
The New Jerusalem is a city that has the glory of God; it shone like a precious stone, like a jasper stone crystal " (Rev. 21:11). The Lord says: "And I will rejoice over Jerusalem and rejoice in My people" (Isaiah 65:19). "The tabernacle of God with men, and He will dwell with them; They will be His people, and God Himself will be their God with them; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will no longer be; neither weeping nor crying nor sickness will be anymore; for the former things have passed away. " (Revelation 21: 3, 4).
"In the city of God there will be no night." No one will need to rest or crave it. The fulfillment of the will of God and the glorification of His name will not cause fatigue. We will always feel the freshness of an endless morning. And they shall have no need of a lamp, nor of a sunshine, for the Lord God lights them. " The sun's rays will replace the pleasant soft glow, many times greater than the noon sun shine. The glory of God and the Lamb will be illuminated by the immortal light of the Holy City. The redeemed will live in the glory and light of the eternal day, in a light that does not come from the sun.
I did not see the temple in it; for the Lord God Almighty is his temple, and the Lamb " (Rev 21:22). The people of God will have the advantage of freely communicating with the Father and the Son. Now we see, as it were, through a dim glass, guessing & quot; (1 Corinthians 13:12). We contemplate the image of God reflected in the mirror, in the works of nature and in His relationships with people, but then we will see Him face to face, between us will not become a dividing veil. We will be in His presence and see the glory of His face.
There, the immortal mind of those saved with vigilant admiration will behold the miracles of the creative power and mystery of redeeming love. There will not be a cruel, deceiving enemy tempting to turn away from God. All the abilities of the redeemed will develop, every talent will increase. Acquired knowledge will not lead to mental
